Technology update
We are working on the transition from Microsoft Windows operating systems (mostly XP) to all Linux OSs (mostly ubuntu). To better serve you, we are making this move away from closed-source, proprietary programs and making the move to open source solutions which enable us greater flexibility.

Some great info:
Free Office-Suite of programs for windows, linux, etc: OpenOffice.org
Other FREE open source programs for windows: site1 - site2 - site3 - site4 - site5
Open source graphics programs for linux. And more. (likely google can tell you about many!)
Ubuntu and Kubuntu are two of many linux operating system distributions.

Soooooo... many apologies for being a little behind with replying to e-mails... we've been quite busy here!

Good for you - I'm an engineer, as well as a Ducati (04 ST3) rider, and I appreciate your being thoughtful enough to not just go with the herd's flow.

Thanks guys! We're turning the corner from small biz to "substantial small business" and in looking forward, I'm trying to start off by doing things the best way. One example is version control for many of our documents, serious back ups, etc, etc.
